How we work
Every engagement follows the same order. Each step has to be finished before the next one starts, and each one gives you something you keep.

What you get
A clear answer on whether a paid diagnostic makes sense, or whether it does not
What it costs
Free
3. The diagnostic
What happens
Either a Gap Session (one working session and a short memo) or a full Operations and AI Readiness Assessment (interviews, a look at your actual systems and data, a written report)
What you get
A plan in order of work, a value estimate, and three priced options
What it costs
Fixed fee, paid upfront
4. The readout

Dr. Herrera walks your team through the findings and the three options in the same meeting
What you get

What the Assessment report contains
- A one-page executive summary your board can read.
- Where things stand: your systems, your workflows, what breaks and why.
- What "working" looks like, with measures you can track.
- The gaps, ranked by impact and effort.
- A conservative value estimate, with every assumption stated.
- Data and AI safety findings: what is sensitive, where it lives, what must never go into outside AI tools, and any agreements you need.
- The recommended path, as an order of work.
- Three priced options.
- Funding notes: which costs fit capacity-building grants, unrestricted funds or one-time board funds.
- Decision steps: who approves, what they need, what happens next.
Why the diagnostic is paid
A fixed price on a build before anyone has looked inside your systems is a guess. The diagnostic turns the guess into a plan with a price on it. It is real work: interviews, a look at your actual systems and data, and a written report your board can use. You keep the findings whether or not you hire us to build anything.
Why the diagnostic often finds more than you expected
Organizations usually describe their symptoms, not the cause. That is normal: the cause is hard to see from the inside. Finding it is the point of the diagnostic.
